Managed Services

Managed Services from BT Al Saudia:

Not all Telco environments are liberalised and many are highly restrictive monopolies, each with their own individual processes for ordering, delivery and billing and service support. Designing, building and operating corporate WAN structures end-to-end in these circumstances can be subject to uncertainty compounded by frustrating delays and uncertain service delivery.

Against this background BT Al Saudia, leveraging off BT’s long association with the operating companies and Telcos in the Middle East, is able to provide corporate customers with a fully managed build and operate service for Wide Area Networks throughout the region covering both premises equipment and Leased Circuits to provide end-to-end managed connectivity. .

Based in Riyadh and drawing upon established close working relationships with all major Telcos, BT Al Saudia’s Managed WAN Service provides:

Network/Circuit Definition and Ordering

Following through from the original WAN design, BT Al Saudia will confirm availability of services to meet defined circuit requirements and, depending upon the regulatory environment prevalent in the country, will either order the circuit in its own name or facilitate circuit ordering in the name of the end-user by providing fully and correctly compiled order documents for customer signature.

From then on, BT Al Saudia handles on behalf of the customer all order placement and order acceptance activities with the Telcos/PTTs.

Obtain Statutory Approvals from Government Departments/Agencies

Some countries still restrict availability of leased circuits requiring positive approvals from various different Ministries and Regulatory Agencies. BT Al Saudia work on the customer’s behalf to obtain the necessary approvals.

Tracking and Jeopardy Management

Once the circuit order has been successfully placed and accepted by the Telco or PTT, BT Al Saudia will maintain ongoing liaison with all operating entities, monitoring progress towards delivery and exercising jeopardy management to ensure circuit delivery by the due dates.

Progress implementation to commissioning and acceptance

Following through from circuit delivery, BT Al Saudia will coordinate with the Telcos/PTTs on the commissioning of the circuits through to acceptance such that the circuit is acceptable for continuous use by the customer.

Centralized Billing and Payment to Telcos/PTTs

BT Al Saudia provides customers with centralised billing.  Thus, the customer will receive one bill, at regular agreed intervals as agreed, for all the circuits and network elements comprising the WAN.  BT Al Saudia will pay, either directly or through the end-user (depending upon the regulatory environment), the bills from the respective Telcos/PTTs.

BT Al Saudia connectivity services are subject to the CITC Regulatory Document (195/1429) of the VSAT satellite services and Internet Service Providers.
